Configure Your WordPress Blog

[401] Sorry, you are not allowed to post on this site.

I have gone over this three times and cannot see where i am having the problem...

I put one blog in (so far)

I have to say the instructions are lacking a little detail - it assumes i know exactly what is being said...

You need to configure a blog for inclusion in the 1WayLinks network. <<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>This blog must be a WordPress blog.<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> For security purposes, we recommend that you create a second blog user with Author status and use those credentials in the form below. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

YOUR BLOG MUST:

Have XMLRPC enabled (version 2.6+). You need to configure a blog for inclusion in the 1WayLinks network. This blog must be a WordPress blog. For security purposes, we recommend that you create a second blog user with Author status and use those credentials in the form below.

YOUR BLOG MUST:

Have XMLRPC enabled (version 2.6+). To do this, login to your blog as the administrator user and go to the Settings -> Writing page. There you can check the box labeled 'Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols.'
Have enough hard drive space to receive up to one post per hour (though rarely will it receive more than a dozen posts per day, if that many). 250mb of hard drive space is plenty to last for at least 5 years worth of blog posts.
Accept posts of general interest. You have no way to control what gets posted to your blog, and posts will not be in any specific niche. Each blog post is reviewed for content and quality, so rest assured there.
Have a theme installed. Before submitting your blog, make sure you've installed a nice Wordpress theme. Do not use the default blue or gray theme. Doing so will get your blog deleted from the network. You need to configure a blog for inclusion in the 1WayLinks network. This blog must be a WordPress blog. User's manuals are a pain to write and are not considered an added value by programmers.  :'(

Those questions have been replied to many times. That is why nobody is rushing to answer them once again.
Do a search.

Google it and you will have  all the info there is to know about class c ip's

The rules here are that each new blog you submit must be on a different (for you) Class C IP address. You can search this forum or "Google it" for detailed info on exactly what "different Class C IP address" means.

For getting multiple Class C IP addresses, read this blog post:

http://howtomakemoney-ontheinternet.com/beginning-affiliate-marketing/finding-the-best-cheap-web-hosting/

The part about getting Class C IP addresses is in bold type, towards the end.

well I canceled it - simply because to look all over the place and hope i got the right answer is not workable for me....

So - what I see is a post from someone on my website?? Has nothing to do with the site ( of course general interest), but its there. I suppose thats how it works / what this program (1 way links) does....

So although i kept receiving the error message - apparently the 1 way link system was working ....

but again - something is wrong by the error message and to look all over google for an answer?? when it has to do with the functonality of this program? - just cannot take the chance on doing something wrong per the 'go get your own answers - steps to fix that error message'

Class 'C' ip has to do with seo in general and is not bound to this program in particular. Even though you would go elsewhere for link building you would still have to have some very basic knowledge in SEO. Doing some Google research about it would only benefit you.

If you "Google"  "different class C IP address"

The first on the list that comes up is:

http://www.webmasterworld.com/domain_names/3370050.htm

Where you can find a good discussion of the subject....  ;)
