Linkbuilding for Religious Sites
« on: January 23, 2012, 09:55:08 AM »
Does anyone have any suggestions for building links for sites which are religious oriented or sell supplies for religious oriented businesses?  I'm pleased with the services from the network here and understand the reasons for having the non-religious content guidelines, but I would like to find good backlinking strategies for these clients of mine.  Outside of the JL network of services, I run the risk of getting links from adult oriented websites, which definitely would not make my clients happy.

Thanks for any suggestions anyone may have.

Have you tried buildmyrank.com?

I have been able to post on a lot of topics in there that I couldn't put into 1way.

They won't take adult but I think they can do the religious sites.

Since churches are a local non-profit and religious organizations, that opens up a world of possibilities.  For example:

1. Partnerships with other churches outside the direct geographic region that your client is in.  This can include intra-denominational churches that share the same charter (so to speak).
2. Approaching other related organizations (christian dating sites, christian meetups, etc.)
3. Find sites that list churches by region.
4. Local Business directories like ShowMeLocal, Yelp, Foursquare, Merchant Circle, and about a thousand more.
5. Local news/media/classified sites.

And on, and on.  Let your imagination go!

Hope this helps! :)

AMR is good for that. Just select PR 2+ to ensure you only post to quality sites and you should be fine. Most AD's have a non-proft section
