Just watched the new keyword canine videos and the tool looks awesome, and I really like the international feature, I have some clients who want to expand their business around the world.  sooooo

How can that be done?  I know if you get listed in google.com that if people from other countries search on google.com they can still see your sites but how do you go about getting listing in another countries version of google? 

I assume the site needs to be written in that language, possibly use that countries domain extension, and get backlinks from other sites that use that countries domain extension?  Correct me if I am wrong about any of the above because i honestly have no idea I have never tried it just assuming based on what i know of seo.

I don't know about OP addresses and, given the global nature of hosting that could be quite hard to arrange, but Google has made it clear that using a national Top Level Domain (TLD) such as .co.uk or .fi, .de etc does help them to identify where the content is aimed at.

Don't worry about IP addresses, I very much doubt it matters. People host their stuff all over the place. I am in Estonia nad have hosting in Australia and The US and IP addresses in the UK, US and elsewhere just by accident of how the host allocated the IP addresses. So, just look for links from the TLDs - if yo are going to bother at all.

It is possible to over think this stuff.

.co.uk Britain
.de     Germany
.fi       Finland
.ee     Estonia
.es     Spain
etc etc.
